About Us

Welcome to the Tunbridge Wells Islamic Cultural Association, a cornerstone of the local Muslim community established in the early 1990’s by a group of dedicated individuals. Our mission at the Tunbridge Wells Islamic Cultural Association is rooted in providing a sacred space for Muslims to observe the five daily Salah, Jumua’h, and Eid Salah and serving the wider community. Prior to our foundation, many Muslims in the area faced arduous journeys, sometimes spanning several hours, to partake in Eid Salah, especially before the construction of the M25 Junction 5. Furthermore, Jumua’h prayers were held within homes due to the absence of a formal centre.
